Hello all,
Recently I have decided to begin selling prints with all proceeds going to the Hope House Rescue Mission, a local charity. My work has always been fueled by my love of brightening people's days and showing them the beauty in the world around us. Donating to this charity is, to me, a very tangible way to continuing to help others and I am very proud to help them.
The Hope House Rescue Mission is a non-profit organization located in Middletown, Ohio, near Miami University. I chose this organization because it is a local charity and it means a lot to me to make a difference in the community that I have become a part of here at Miami University. My contributions may not be of any great amount, but with your help we can provide shelter, food, and other basic necessities to those that are less fortunate.
I appreciate any support that you can provide, even if it is simply a comment on how my art affects you. Also, if you are interested in making a donation, but do not want to purchase artwork, please visit their website at: www.hopehouserescuemission.inf…
Once again, thank you for your support. I am very proud to be able to give back, even in this small way. I trust that together we will be able to make someone's day a little brighter.

Read some philosophy
I donno about you, but I really enjoy thinking. I have recently been entranced with the movie Waking Life, if you haven't seen it I highly recommend it. Although some say that it is a feeble attempt at popularizing philosophy, I believe you have to start somewhere. It has some really great fundamentals that get me thinking every time I watch it, and I have seen it many times! I have been thinking a lot recently, especially since I have recently gotten out of school for the summer. I'm really looking forward to where this leads. I picked up a book called Beyond Good & Evil by Friedrich Nietzsche. After reading the first part (around 30 pages)
My trip out west
I just got home today from a trip out west. I was mostly in Taos, New Mexico but I also branched out to southern Colorado and more central New Mexico. I took far too many photos to upload, and most of them were more for the sake of documenting my trip, but there are several that I will upload eventually. I hope you enjoy them, they were a joy to shoot and I am sure you will be seeing them soon.

Hey I just wanted to thank everyone for all your support and interest in my work! I never really imagined that my art would attract so many different people and in such a short amount of time. It's definately not the best idea to focus on how many people view your art, it is, instead, more important that you, yourself enjoy what you create. Because of this, I try not to let the popularity of certain pieces or the contrary to affect me too much as far as what I post on here. It is, however, a nice feeling when your work recieves positive feedback.
Just wanted to say thanks..
Happy new year everyone!!

My new SLR!
Hey Merry Christmas everyone!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday. Im doing quite well, I finally got a SLR, it's fantastic! I've been getting used to using more manual-style photography, it is much more involved and I really enjoy it. On the first day I had the camera, my buddy Sam and I decided to take it for a test drive, quite literally. We drove down to the Cleveland Flats to find some old, nasty looking buildings that were lit up at night. It was a really crazy night with the weather, dancing around 32 degrees. As we made our way around the city, we stumbled across a rather steep street and, not thinking anything of it,
